Inaugural Lupasha Scholars 2022
In memory of our dear friend Gabriel Lupasha the Rukwa Foundation funded a scholarship in his name at the Katandala Vocational Technical School where Gabriel once taught masonry
In March of 2022 the Rukwa Foundation funded the Lupasha Scholarship as a standing endowment at the Katandala VTC. The endowment hopes to keep active students engaged in their studies by alleviating financial hardship during the school term. The attached picture shows the inaugural 8 students who benefited from the Lupasha scholarship. The endowment is an open grant and is administered by the school officials. We thank the teachers and administrators at Katandala, most notably Mr. Komba, for their tireless dedication to their students and their mission.
